ACL Registration

In the most recent ASIC Credit reform update (released 7th June 2010) it was indicated that ASIC have only received 10,200 registrations. When we consider that the MFAA alone have over 12,000 memberships, it seems evident that registrations have fallen shy of expectations.

This is amplified by the fact that many business owners have registered two or three times to allow for flexibility after July 1st (Registering as both Individuals, Business Entities and Trusts).

If you do not have your conformation email from ASIC, or are unsure if you have actually registered I would encourage you to check your name /your companies name against the public access ASIC register.

We would join ASIC in urging those who have not registered to do so before the 30th of June, and ideally before the 18th of June, to ensure that you can continue offering activities after July 1st.
